CotM 58 - New Light

As Tuikku was heading home with her family after a long day, an odd light in the distance caught their eyes. Curious of its source, the Mais headed to investigate it. Drawn to the mysterious light, Tuikku mustered enough strength to keep on walking, despite being about to fall asleep. After a short while they found the source of the light on a small clearing. An ice lantern stood alone in the snow shining its warm light.

Tuikku had never seen a lantern made out of ice before. It shone so brightly that she forgot her tiredness. She really wanted to take it with her and add it to her collection. She figured she couldn't do that and left it there.
They finally headed home and Tuikku couldn't help but think about what other new and wonderful things she might get to see this year.

Oh gosh I managed to finish my entry, although it was pretty much on the last moment haha. OTL
I really wanted to draw an ice lantern but I had no idea ice was actually that hard to paint. :'D Will have to do some studies on ice later.
